REGULATIONS FOR ALL NOMINATIONS (COLLECTIVES)
The "EUROPE OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION" is held completely online, in such form where the jury views of video recordings of participants' performances. Performers from all over the world are invited to participate in the competition. The competition is held annually, applications are accepted 365 days a year.
The participant chooses one of the three editions and sends an application.
SPRING SEASON
Accepting applications until April 1st. Announcement of results April 20
SUMMER SEASON
Accepting applications until June 10. Announcement of results July 1
AUTUMN SEASON
Applications are accepted until December 1st. Announcement of results December 20

PROGRAM

In the orchestra category, no more than 25% of illustrators from the total number of team members are allowed. The age category is determined by the average age of all participants, not taking into account the age of illustrators, accompanists and conductor.

Mixed, female, male, choir conductor
The repertoire includes academic, spiritual, world, folk or opera music. No more than 25% of illustrators from the total number of team members are allowed in the choir nomination. The age category is determined by the average age of all participants, not taking into account the age of illustrators, accompanists and conductor.

The participant sends only one link of the competitive video performance.
- All members of the ensemble, orchestra, choir and conductor must be visible on the video recording,
- It is allowed to record works made at different times (in one file),
- To send a video recording, upload the video file to YouTube and add the link to the application.
* Links to videos on social media are not accepted.
CONDUCTOR OF CHOIR, ORCHESTRA
Video recording is carried out:
- from inside the orchestra, where the camera should be pointed at the conductor and part of the orchestra is visible,
- on the left or right side from behind the orchestra, where the camera should be pointed at the conductor and part of the orchestra is visible.
From inside the orchestra, recording may not reflect the normal sound of the orchestra. Audio can be recorded using external audio recording equipment and synchronized with video.
The participant submits the following documentation:
- Completed application form,
- For collectives – list of participants with the stamp of the institution they represent,
- For participants of small forms, a document confirming the identity and date of birth,
- Photo for the artistic poster (optional),
- Artistic biography (optional).
The participant pays a fee of 30 евро (с коллектива).
If the contestant wants to receive a diploma with a “wet seal” by postal service, an additional 10 euros must be paid for the entry fee (40 euros altogether).
The work of the jury is regulated by the rules. Famous musicians, teachers, conductors and outstanding cultural figures are invited to the jury. If the composition is performed for the premiere, at the request of the jury, it is necessary to send the musical material of this composition in electronic form . The jury’s decision is final and not subject to appeal.
Participants are evaluated based on the average score of the jury members. The number of diplomas of laureates is unlimited.
GOLD AWARD/ LAUREATE FIRST PRIZE is awarded to a participant who scored at least 90 – 100 points.

Performance level: GRANDE PERFORMER (99 – 100),
Performance level: CONCERT PERFORMER (96 – 98,99),
Performance level: VIRTUOSO PERFORMER (93 – 95,99),
Performance level: EXCELLENT PERFORMER (90 – 92,99).
SILVER AWARD/ LAUREATE SECOND PRIZE is awarded to a participant who scored at least 80 – 89,99 points.
Performance level: EXCEPTIONAL PERFORMER (85 — 89,99),
Performance level: PROMISING PERFORMER (80 — 84,99).
BRONZE AWARD/ LAUREATE THIRD PRIZE is awarded to a participant who scored at least 70 – 79,99 points.
Performance level: PERSPECTIVE PERFORMER
DIPLOMA is awarded to a participant who scored at least 65 – 69,99 points.
All contestants receive diplomas after the end of each edition in all categories:

Prize pool totaling $5,000 will be distributed among selected participants WORLD OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION and EUROPE OPEN MUSIC COMPETITION.

The organizer reserves the right to distribute the prize fund.
The European Association of Music Educators and Performers & Producer Agency MIR Production, with the support of the Ministries of Culture and Communication, organizes the EUROPE OPEN Music Competition.
The competition is held according to the rules for participants in nominations and the rules of the jury.
In case of disagreement between the Organizer and the participant, the rules in English shall be considered competent.
By participating in the contest, contestants automatically waive their rights to material compensation in connection with the publication and distribution of competitive video recordings. By submitting an application for the competition, participants automatically agree to all the conditions from the rules above.
