Biography

In 1996, she graduated from the Academy of Music. Fryderyk Chopin in Warsaw in the class of prof. Kazimierz Michalik and prof. Tomasz Strahl.

She participated in many cello courses led by professors: K. Michalik, T. Strahl, A. Orkisz, S. Firlej, T. Kuhne, M. Sadlo, A. Bauer, P. Hausenplas. She also completed chamber music courses with professors: B. Halska, M. Nosowska, K. Jankowska, A. Guz, and K. Borucińska.

Already during her studies, she started working in the orchestra of the “Roma” Musical Theater in Warsaw. In the years 1996 – 2013 she worked in the Polish Radio Orchestra in Warsaw. In 1996–1998 she was a member of the “Brahms Trio” chamber ensemble. She also collaborated with the Lublin Philharmonic and the Polish Chamber Philharmonic.

Since 1994 he has been working as a teacher at the Complex of State Music Schools No. 4 for them. Karol Szymanowski in Warsaw, where he is currently the head of the string instruments, harp and accordion section. From 2015, he also teaches at the State Music School No.1 Karol Kurpiński in Warsaw.

He conducts workshops and lectures on the methodology of playing the cello for students and teachers, and sits on the jury of cello competitions.

Her pupils are laureates of numerous national and international competitions, scholarships from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage and the National Fund for Gifted Children. He is a methodological consultant of the Artistic Education Center.
