Qing Xu
Qing Xu (b. 1999) currently studies as a postgraduate student at the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, class of prof. Yuan Shen. She began studying the pipe organ at 14 when she was in middle school affiliated to Shenyang Conservatory of Music.
In 2018, she was selected for the program “Young Talent” from Haarlem International Organ Festival, and has been chosen to perform in the closing ceremony.
At the same year, she won the second prize of Concours international d’orgue de Versailles Jeune Talent (Versailles International Young Concert Organist Competition). She also won the first prize of Haarlem International Organ Festival- Central Conservatory of Music Scholarship Competition in 2019.
Qing Xu participated in Haarlem International Organ Festival (2016, 2018), Korea International Organ Camp (2019), and took master class with Lorenzo Ghielmi, Pier Damiano Peretti,
Jean-Baptiste Robin, Leo van Doeselaar, Louis Robillard, Arvid Gast and other famous organists.
