Weronika and Wiktoria Martuszewska (Martsisters) have been playing the violin together for 4 years. They study violin in the class of Professor Małgorzata Skorupa at the Secondary Music School in Gdynia. They have participated in many violin masterclasses with outstanding violinists of international renown: Prof. Janusz Wawrowski (Poland), Prof. Agata Szymczewska (Poland), Prof. Piotr Tarcholik (Poland), Prof. Wiesław Kwaśny (Poland), Prof. Marcin Baranowski, etc.
Since her debut on the big stage in 2019, she has performed regularly as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra member. They have collaborated with conductor: Monika Bachowska (Poland). They are scholarship holders of the President of the City of Gdynia. They are laureates of many international violin competitions.
Recent competition prizes are:
• Laureates - National Competition for Violinists, Viola, Cello and Bass players within V PRESTO Festival, Poland
• II Prize International Tiziano Rosetti Music Competition, Switzerland
